Are You Ready for a New Year?

I am sitting at my desk this end of December, embracing the holiday season and the impending new year; a time of infinite possibilities. I am feeling pretty good about the year that is almost at its end. I started 2012 with some big goals but was kind enough to myself to allow lots of time to accomplish what I wanted to, so it is okay that I am not yet done. I still have big dreams…places to get to in my life and a need to achieve so much more. And with a new twelve months ahead of me, it all still seems within my grasp. It happens every holiday season. You attend lots of parties and social gatherings and are tempted with way too much food and drinks. Here’s some tips to help you make good choices: • Never go to a party hungry. Have a big bowl of soup, some low-fat yogurt and fruit, or a handful of nuts before you head out. • First check out all the food on a buffet so you can make good choices.
