Positive Thinking...It Works!

I won’t kid you. I love when things are going swimmingly in my life. It puts me in a great mood, it gives me lots of energy, and I feel as if I can accomplish anything…anything at all. But when something negative occurs, I sometimes react physically and then emotionally. My stomach begins to feel jumpy and my self-confidence goes down the drain. I then seem to lose all of my enthusiasm for the day along with my focus. What has happened is that negative thinking has determined how I show up and live my life. I have fallen overboard without a life jacket. Sound familiar? What I have described is allowing negative thinking taking over. Yes, you heard me right—allowed it to take over and without a fight. Why Being Grateful Makes All the Difference

I’m not exactly sure when it was that I became grateful; I mean deeply and consciously aware of what there was in my life that ought to be acknowledged and appreciated. For a long time I moved along in my life aware in some fashion of all of the good—and all of the not so good—and how it affected the way I showed up.
